Ms. Bergman spent one year in Jerusalem, Israel
studying at the Reuben Academy of Dance and Music. She was awarded a
license from the Jacques Dalcroze School of Eurythmics (music and
dance) from Brussels, Belgium. She completed her studies with a
Masters of Science Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter
College, New York City, in 1983.
Ms. Bergman choreographed the
Pain-free Back Exercise Video at the request of Mt. Sinai Medical
Center, Dept. of Rehabilitation Medicine and Employee Health Services,
to help relieve employee back pain. She volunteered at Mt. Sinai
Medical Center, Dept. of Geriatrics and Medicine; she conducted
therapeutic exercise for the medically ill. She joined the March of
Dimes in the Corporate “Babies n’ You” Campaign. She researched and
developed a Public Seminar entitled “Pregnancy, Posture, Back Pain and
Exercise”. Roberta’s expertise lies in healing back and neck pain,
fantastic posture, and stress reduction through medically safe
exercise and relaxation techniques. It is just this focus, along with
Ms. Bergman’s unique energetic, enthusiastic and motivating style of
educating people, that enables her to present seminars and develop
programs about health and fitness issues in the workplace to employee
groups. She has helped organizations such as Johnson & Johnson Health
Management, IBM, Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, Salomon Brothers, MTV,
HBO, Viacom, TimeWarner/AOL, and Universal, among many others.

and many other stations have interviewed Ms. Bergman as their featured
health and fitness guest. Her specialty exercise programs are so
appealing to so many different age groups and market segments since
her focus is on medically-safe exercise and family fitness. Ms.
Bergman helps people harness both physical and mental energies through
healthy life styles. She choreographs and develops health and fitness
programs for people from ages 2-92. She has been lauded by Shape
magazine as one of the ten most successful women in the exercise
business. Due to her international reputation in health and fitness,
Ms. Bergman is a frequent radio and TV show guest. She is telegenic
and communicates her health and fitness expertise with enthusiasm,
effervescence, and contagious ENERGY!
